Kathy S. Strom

Kathy Strom joined Trister Ross in 2018 with extensive experience advising clients on complex regulatory and administrative law issues. She has advised and trained clients on regulatory and administrative compliance, including relating to international trade sanctions and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and drafted agreements and other legal documents relating to regulatory matters. Kathy has represented clients in a broad range of investigative and other legal proceedings before regulatory agencies in Washington, DC, including the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the Department of the Treasury (OFAC). Kathy has expertise in trademark law and intellectual property, and has represented clients in connection with registration and use of trademarks, trademark disputes, license agreements and other agreements relating to intellectual property. Kathy also brings political experience to her practice, having worked in political campaigns, and having served for a decade as a Town Council member and for three years as Mayor of a Maryland municipality.
