Neil Weare
Neil Weare

Neil Weare is an associate in the firm's political and tax law practice and works with social welfare, advocacy, charitable and political organizations, political professionals and other firm clients.

He is also a non-profit entrepreneur, founding We the People Project, an advocacy organization that works to achieve equal rights and representation for the nearly 5 million Americans living in U.S. territories and the District of Columbia. And, he is a founding Board Member of Connecticut Veterans Legal Center, which helps veterans recovering from homelessness and mental illness overcome legal barriers to housing, healthcare and income.

As a law student, Mr. Weare successfully argued the landmark education case CCJEF v. Rell before the Connecticut Supreme Court, which recognized a state constitutional right to an adequate education. He has also served as co-counsel on numerous amicus briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court and lower courts on a range of constitutional law issues.
