Kiara Rhodes counsels charitable, advocacy, and political organizations, labor unions, political professionals, and other firm clients on corporate, ethics, lobbying, campaign finance, and tax matters.
Prior to joining the firm in 2026, Kiara served as Acting Senior Attorney Advisor at AmeriCorps, a federal government corporation committed to fostering civic engagement through service and volunteering. Starting as a legal intern in 2018 while attending the Howard University School of Law, she remained with AmeriCorps as an Honors Attorney following graduation and accepted a permanent role as Attorney Advisor in 2021, where she advised AmeriCorps programs and client offices on compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory guidance, grantmaking functions, contracts, policymaking, strategic partnerships with community organizations, and other operations.
